30a’s Grayton Beer Company

As residents here  along 30a, it is always exciting to see new business ventures being born and especially exciting to see the successful ones begin to thrive. The Grayton Beer Company is one such venture. The company was established in 2011 by Jamey Price who introduced the brewery’s first two beers during their first year. Over the next year, the business saw the construction of a beautiful new, 30,000 square foot  facility on Highway 98 and the delivery of nine, state of the art stainless steel fermentation tanks. By November of last year, the brewing company was producing the County’s first locally brewed beer flowing from the brand new brewing equipment.

The largest of the nine new vats used to produce these great tasting brews holds 22,000 pints of beer which results in 8,000 barrels of  beer and enough capacity for 150,000 bottles at a time.

Just recently, Grayton Beer Company released it’s new range of locally brewed beers featuring striking new colors and designs. Among the 5 flavors being offered are the 30A BEACH BLOND ALE, 1890 FOUNDER’S AMBER ALE and the  WHITE DUNES BELGIAN WHITE.  The whole Grayton Beer range of flavors features names and styles that are meaningful and familiar to Florida’s Gulf Coast region.

As these products continue to grow in popularity and demand, they can be purchased and enjoyed by the bottle or in draft at restaurant and bars along the gulf coast. These beers are distributed by The Lewis Bear company and can be found from Pensacola to Appalachicola. It is easy to support a thriving local business here when all you have to do is “order up” one of Grayton Beer Company’s great locally brewed beers
